The field of agricultural machinery has always been a family affair. It all started in 1935, when our great-grandfather Antonio Santillana opened the doors of his own forge, “Hermanos Santillana”, in Villanueva de los Infantes. Since then, our family has always been connected to the manufacture of machinery.
The last generation of the Santillana brothers joined the company in 2000. Since then, we have brought innovation to the agricultural machinery market.
We launch the pendulum vibrators
We started in 2002 with pendulum vibrators.
In 2007 we patented our 360° rotating vibrator. Unique in mobility on multi-foot trees, it is detachable and the boom part can be placed in front of the tractor.
We are launching our first front vibrator. Award for technical innovations
In 2012 we launched our first front vibrator and in 2013 we improved it, patented our own variable amplitude vibration system and were awarded the 2nd prize for technical innovations at EXPOLIVA.
Luisa Soriano, Minister of Agriculture of Castilla-La Mancha, visited us to learn about our work in the field of innovation in olive harvesting.
FERCAM Gold Medal for our track record
In 2015 we received the FERCAM gold medal, in honour of our business trajectory.
We launch our umbrella vibrator and open a new branch in Beja (Portugal).
In 2016 we launched our very light umbrella vibrator. We also launched our own branch in BEJA (Portugal).
The renovation
We made a major investment in the modernisation of our facilities. We embarked on new projects and exciting challenges.
The work carried out in R&D&I results in differentiation with respect to the rest of our direct competitors. We create solutions, such as using biodegradable oil for the hydraulic circuit to avoid contamination of the olives themselves.
